Melody of sorrow.

by Amber   Feb 12, 2009

By day she hums a melody so gentle and sweet just to please you.
By night she hums a melody of sorrow that if heard stuck to you like glue.
The sound of her melodic sorrow wraps around you and draws you in.
Making you wonder how someone like her lost the brightness of sun.

She cries out her hatred of love in this wonderfully sorrow filled song.
Hitting those high notes in a voice so eerie, yet strong.
Her hurt rang out crystal clear, filling the cold night time air.
No where could you find any voice that could compare.

She sang of how she was with him, but she didn't think it would work.
She hit the perfect eighth note rhythm of how she thought she was a jerk.
In a crystal clear voice she told how she yearned for another one.
Singing higher she whispered her wished to have her current be done.

Afraid to hurt her current, she cried out this melodic song of grim.
She felt bad to lie to him. He walked over and she ended her hymn.
Looks to her true lover and whispers I love you, but now she must fake.
She fakes happiness with her current and hums her melody as her heart aches.

The title is extremely catchy, i like how you can intergrate a lot of your poems on yourself, describing it in such ways as a melody, beautiful job!
