The Ultimate Game

The Ultimate Game
(09/05/08)

She played the game
The ultimate game
The game that nobody is sure to win
The game that many call it drugs

Nothing is wrong, she said
It'll be alright
Just a little try
Just a little sniff

Down she gulped the alcohol
Laughing and cheering with her friends
They enjoyed their time all night
Partying and partying thinking they were right.

Time has come
She'll drive them home
Jumping and joking in the car
Teasing each other laughing like hyenas

On the highway
She didn't realize
Angel of Death
Waiting for them

The angel with a scythe
And a black long coat
And an evil grin
Waiting for the next victim

The familiar curve on the road
So sneaky, so dangerous
Without notice, she didn't see
Without alarm, they went down the deep

Trees on the way
Brakes not working
Down they went
All very frightening

It stopped, no motion
They heard a hiss
Trying to escape
Only few did, they were afraid

Gas tank exploded
Frightened they were
Some still in the car
Blank went their minds, they were all scared

Sound of ambulance
On the second day
Rushing them to the hospital
Terrified, a few met the angel, so they say

Angel of Death
Smirking, grinning
Not yet satisfied
He wanted her, the innocent girl

Being alive, she'd rather death
Her face ruined
So unsightly, so friendless
So lonely, so disfigured

The next day, she woke up
No mirrors around
She wanted to fix her hair
But none were seen there

She sneaked outside
Pedestrians moved away from her
Children screaming
Everyone’s eyes wide open at her

Not aware of what happened
Not knowing what she turned into
She ran back to the hospital
Broke into a room, a mirror was her target

A scream so desperate
A scream so beastly
A scream so tired
A scream so loud

This is only a trick mirror
She didn't believe it was her
No, it can't be her
She's Miss Universe, not this creature

She broke the mirror
Ran into another room
Tears ran down her cheeks
Screamed as if doomed

Her mom found her
In the bathroom
In the middle of a pool
A pool of royal red

She shouted for her child
No answer heard
A note dropped out
The suicide words

Sorry to Mr. and Mrs. so and so
Didn't mean to drink and drive
Sorry I didn't see the curve
Sorry, it was my first time

Her mother dried her tears
Stood up bravely
Her daughter has went away
To a place so far away

It was her first time
Just her first try
Just a little practice
Just a little fun

Angel of Death
Grinning again
It was fun
The drugs are my game

Angel of Death
Not yet satisfied
Wants more youngsters
To get them for a ride

Angel of Death
The only winner
Everyone else loses
Everyone else becomes his slaves

Her mother gives advice
Let.s fight the Angel
Overcome your yearning for drugs
And you will be a warrior, a real, tough warrior
