Lookin In The Mirror

by XxDaisyxX   Feb 20, 2009

I'm lookin through the mirror at a girl
Who looks like me
She has dark long eyelashes
Identical to mine
And her rich chocolate brown eyes
Have a dark rim outlining on them
Just like me
I move up close to the mirror
We're face to face
Her lips move but i cant understand
What she says
She has no voice
No expressions
No thoughts not like me
I wear a blue shirt
She dressed in black
My face is expressive but hers is not
Her world is an opposite
Reflection to mine
She looks at me and i look at her
She envies my world but i don't envy hers
The sparkles on my shirt shimmer
Under the spotlight
In her world she has no light
She's dressed head to toe in black
With no rays emitting
I sing her a song and her eyes lighten up
I can see her reflection
But i cant see into her world
Out hands move closer together
And the touch is cold and dry
My hand smells of roses her don't
Her hands are broken
Her heart and her soul are broken
Like a shattered piece of crystal
Impossible to repair
Suddenly horrible image flash
And race though my head
I feel and see her pain
I want to scream
I cannot sing any more or smile
I live freely where she is buried alive
Out eyes meet again until she close them
Her head goes limp
Like a wilting flower in the garden
She has no more pain
She is finally free at last
