ANGELS WITHIN:

by huddy   Feb 22, 2009

..... then I heard a voice say,'You are not alone, we are with you

I was tormented and torn apart for problems had outweighed my inner strength.
Pity then became my friend and sorrow my scarf.
I was known by a name non other than a loser and my life was no different from that of a beggar.

I became a staircase to the others and a pile of steps to those that were heading to success but never once was I thanked.
I was on the verge of killing myself cuz I felt I had lost the race. Even a crawling child seemed to move but I was getting nowhere. I was stuck in one place with no song on my lips.

I then turned to myself and took a deeper look into the mirror but my very image spelt out shame cuz I couldn't look at myself neither could myself look at I.

Tick by Tick time went by but still I was caught in tears and pain.
But just as I turned to pick that gun; I then heard a voice say,
"You are not alone, we are here with you."
Light then struck my eyes and out of my darkness came glory a bright. I then felt comfort by the warmth I was surrounded by and I laughed at last
For I was not alone but there were Angels Within
