I'm Sorry

by williamcampbell   Feb 23, 2009

I'm sorry little girl, but my job took me away,
To the Land of the Sand, but when I get back we'll play.
I'll chase you round the floor, and we'll go down to the park,
We'll go get ice cream, and wrestle till it gets dark

I'm sorry little boy, Daddy is in the Marines
I got sent to Iraq, Your face I haven't e'en seen.
But when I do get home, We'll have to get acquainted,
I know we've never met, so till then I'll write instead.

Sorry sexy lady, I'm a thousand miles away,
It's hard without you babe, but I'll be with you one day.
We'll go out to dinner, and maybe catch a movie
We'll get a hotel room, and be alone finally.

To my precious family, I'm sorry for all the pain,
We'll be soon united, and pick up our life again.
Reagan I miss you girl, and I can't wait to meet you Ty,
Jackie I love you babe, just pray the months fly by
