My Beautiful Soulmate

It is only since kissing my soulmate
These thoughts i need to share,
Such deep emotive emotions
Making me so self aware...

What if I ever lost you?
What if death took you away?
How would i breath on without you,
Or live out the rest of my days?

I always knew you were the only one
My soul connected too,
And everytime our eyes met
I knew you felt it too.

Then finally fate intervened
Speaking the words.."It is time",
And destiny brought your heart forward
To fulfill the longing in mine.

I have never in all of my life
Felt such complete and utter love,
I feel tearful and overwhelmed
And words just do not run deep enough.

Your my first thought in the morning
And my last thought at the dark of night
I love you with all of my heart,
And will so for all of my life.

I pray that my guardian angel
Watches over and hears what I say
As I whisper it out upon the wind,
Please dont ever take him away.

For he is the love of my life,
He is my soulmate, forevermore.
Through decades of time i have loved him,
And will do so for decades more...
