Unsure about what to believe in
in school we taught to believe when evidence's present
but here we taught hope and faith
but all my life i've be told to wait
for my dreams and wishes to come true
but now i see its so much more that you gotta do.
it takes
perserverance and dedication
hard work and determination
longevity and the will to survive
in a cold world wher you can get burned alive
the intellect to kno when to play it safe and at the same time
risty enough to kno when to put it all on the line
cuz you gotta trust and believe that he's always got your back
and be weary of the one that wanna take you off your heavenly track
you see that one only operates to one tume
and its the same tune that'll heat up ya whole view. cloud up ya whole view
so you gotta stay tuned
for when he's callin you
warning you to move this way and not that cuz every step is a POP quiz
and only he knows what the final grade is.
no in betweens
and personally i plan on putting in extra credit
cuz its Pass or Fail.
and it ain't no way ima walk that path to hell.
