Alienation

by Alexander   Mar 1, 2009

I really thought that I could trust you
Now I see that was a mistake
Because after I told you
My life turned to dust

Who would have thought
That just because of one fact
Even your parents
Can disown you

My deepest guarded secret
Was told to only one
And that person told another...
Who told another...
Who then told another...
Until it seemed everyone knew

The problem with living in a small town
Is that everybody knows everything
And if a secret is told
The whole city will hear about it

But its not like I made this desition
And if I could change I would
Because its just so hard
To feel hated by those you love

So when they found out
And told me to leave
I felt my heart shatter
And nobody was there to put the pieces back together
