All Your Lies (Collaboration with Gabe)

Our love was something no one knew
As anything but wrong
Of all our friends only a few
Could see how we'd belong

And now looking back on it
I can see us through their eyes
And looking now I see why I quit
Believing all of your lies

But even after all this time
That we have spent apart
I still dream as though you're mine
I feel you still in my heart

Your eyes still haunt me in the night
The kiss still burns my lips
Love was burning hot and bright
Until the hold began to slip.

Heart that beated just for me
Turned and began to stray
What used to be a jubilee
Turned to love decay.

Hold me not against your heart
Frozen is your touch
I should have known from the start
You used me as a crutch.

    A splended poem and the blend of two writers is excellent. Users are the worst kind of people to have in your life. They almost "suck" the life out of you. Good job to both of you. 5/5

    ^^ These lines really hit me hard....we all fear to meet with someone like that: a user.
