Oblivion

Theres this place in my mind
Bright; full of life.
Im trying to find a world, a place
Where everyones kind.
The lights so bright it shines and blots out
The darkness.
Where someone I love will win my heart.

Then the truth flows out,
And darkness leaks,
Like acidic slime through
The cracks.

My screams so loud, and piercing,
Goes un-heard.
Every wish and prayer I make is smashed
Into the pieces of pain and horror in your
Wake.

Even as I dream of blue skies,
As my body slowly defies me,
As it shakes,
And eyes they cry
I keep wondering why
Im dying.
How will I live through this?

The blackness claims my mind,
Like a cloud of serenity in soft wisps
Of lovely caresses of soft touches of delightful
Astonishment
As I float away in frenzied tranquility.

(Rescue men)

We found the womens body.
She endured the detonation
But we didnt reach her in time.
However we also found clutched to her chest

The body of a child;
No one yet knows how the child got there.
Or who this child belonged to
But,

The child is still alive and well
Furthermore
We are still looking for the next of kin.
