You Already Knew

by Cassandra   Mar 4, 2009

Lights off.
Blade in hand.
Your name I scoff.
Its blood I demand.

Not any will do.
It must be mine.
But you already knew.
That youd be fine.

Id never hurt you.
No matter my rage.
But you already knew.
The beasts in its cage.

The only one here.
Is the one in harms way.
As the blade draws near.
My mind doesnt wish to stay.

One slice, now two.
Im loosing count.
All because of you.

This poem was provoked by an argument with a friend...but isnt necessairly written because of her...I just write better when Im upset
