Contemplation

by Beautiful Chaos   Mar 4, 2009

Is there somewhere
In this world for me
Among the flowers
In the sea
Shall I live
Or cease to be
Such questions surely pass

What will come
What will go
Do we even want to know
I'm sure there'll be a TV show
Brainwash the working class

Up and down
A one way road
Searching
For the life we're owed
Time will race
As we erode
Too late to take it back

-Well was a beautiful opening for the poem... I like the imaginery here
which you have painted. I can feel the longing to be in a place of serenity

-This is my fav stanza....I like how you add the TV being part of our
daily life influencing the way our modern society think. This is brilliant

I like the metaphor you use the describing life as a one way road
well though life is made up of the choices that we make, we still
couldn't undo the actions for the choices we hav taken

Overall you have done a wonderful job. The poem was pretty well structured
