Never Be Her's

by Cee.Cee   Mar 10, 2009

Never Be Hers.

Laughter echoes
far in the distance
she knows it will never be hers

the weight on small shoulders
slowly cracking; almost breaking
salty wetness covering the purple

with the burden of unwanted
unloved
happiness is a fantasy

that she knows will never be hers
true innocence compromised
by pure evil and disgust

a sickness we all want in hell
but a angel is within its grasps
forever hidden

longing to smile
but that will never be hers

By Cheyanne Carla Barrett

in dedication to all the hurt burdened children.

This was a great poem, and the only grammer mistake i noticed was you put "a angle," its "an angle," but yet still a beautiful poem non the less.
