The Shadowlust Inside Me

by The Shadowlust Inside Me   Mar 12, 2009

Forfeit the game, before someone else takes you out
Puts your name to shame, cover up your face
Cause you cant run the race
The pace is to fast, you wont last
They cast you a ring of light
But you cant reach, just out of range
You feel strange like no other
To late to see the other
The dark passenger in the driver's seat
But you feel complete
So you leave him be
Not worried or scared
To thrilled to care
No more do you see the light just the darkness inside
He teaches you the way to feed your obsession
Oh my god it's becoming a passion
The taste of power no longer a joke
But I dont stray
Not likely to lose my way
I feel so overwhelmed, I embrace his gift
The new driver of my life no space for the other
His gift is rich
So full and plump..but just one word
And here it is so fear me world!
SHADOWLUST!
