The Rose

by Allie   Mar 12, 2009

The long stemmed rose compares to thee,
The scorching billows of beauty
leaks and urches from inside,
and wisps across her soft skin,
Taking away every inch of ugly.

She grows like thy rose,
and love is thy water.

She denies her beauty.
and disagrees thoroughly.
She is ignorant of the fact
that the man aside of her
stares into her deep blue eyes,
and falls irrevocably in love.

He picks her out of thy garden,
so she can begin her life
with nothing holding her back.
and then grows the missing petals
on the rose of her life.

They stride away with speed
to commence eternity together,
even when the rose turns black.
