Hello There, The Angel From My Nightmare

by xToBeWithYoux   Mar 14, 2009

I'd always been haunted
with dreams of them. You.
Bloodsuckers, prowling the streets.
Who do I blame now?

I waited in the morgue,
Lying on the steel.
Awaiting my death,
when you emerged from the shadows.

A beautiful angel,
lifting me from the darkness.
Straight from my twisted dreams
and visions, but you were different.

Pain beckoned, yes:
it was a torturous wait.
But this nightmare won't be half as bad
with an angel at my side.
