The Life of The Poor

by Kelvin Masi   Mar 16, 2009

Prices high, food is low
Wages short as children grow
Clothing less, houses none
Strikes on jobs, closing schools, fighting mobs, more fools
Ragged children
Hungry people, lots of sins on storekeepers
Lesser friends, few achievements
Empty hearts, women weeping
Newly-set laws, crooked politicians
A plenty back draws from the communists’ positions
Rich man’s gain, from products sold
Poor man’s drained of all his gold.
