The Patriot

by Amber Scott   Mar 18, 2009

The river crashes against the rocks,
As the patriot rides by with his flock.
Together they stand Showing Courage and bravery.
Standing Up for what’s right, knowing all along
They must fight.
Proving themselves on the field of battle.
The Wind sings a mournful song through the falling leaves.
As a solider cries out just one last plea,
“Save my son if not me.”

The French and Indian war!
