Familiar scratching feeling
Closing the base of my throat
Scared, pathetic, and small
Some emotions I call home

With this, my thoughts
My mind, and again
Write this in pencil
I'd drink the ink from a pen

With last words wringing
A sound oh so clear
Losing feeling
