Hush

by Baine Willows   Mar 26, 2009

Oh, hush my darling
Lie so sweet
Sing my pained life
Back to sleep
Hold me safely in the dark
Deceive to mend
This broken heart
The ache is deep
My scars are bare
With your cold touch
And blinding stare
These lips are satin
Acid skin
These eyes are wise
They know your sin
Jealously is nothing here
Cannot touch I
Nor you, my dear
So hush, my darling
Lie to me
Hold my thoughts
Insanity
This life is yours
This body mine
The score is settled
A hand-made line
Don't glance to quick
I will admit
The time we share
Flies as we sit
And to the sunset
Sweet moonlight
Hush, my darling
I'm yours tonight
