What makes this grown man cry?

by kidheir   Mar 27, 2009

Who stops to see these tears drop
as the music plays his heart stops
whose around when he cant take it and runs away
where is God when he cant take life
where is his friends
where is he as he walks
people walk about laughing as he tilts his head
tears tend to fall from his cheeks
yet who is there to catch them who is there as he falls
yet when this young man dies
it seems that all are concerned but when he lived
no one was around now as he looks above from hell...
there all around with tears in there eyes as he lays in his box with a bullet in his mind and no more tears in his eyes
now as all fades his heart cries as his soul dies

the greatest release is when it all parts and a stream flows down as you look to your hand and see just red thats my medicine thats how i deal thats my love that fades and the slight pain for a chance never to hurt again this is the life of someone destined for nothing thats life and this young man he doesn't dream he doesn't pray he just stays up waiting for death to take its toll and save all and save all from this young man with tears in his soul and a destroyed mind

A good poem, but I reckon more people would stop and read it if it wasn't in capitals. This can be seen as aggressive, like the poem is shouting at the reader. Only emphasise certain parts :)

Apart from that, it was a nice read, well done :)

    Keep writing,
    Emily :)
