Dear Meek Heart, Who Will YOu Chose?

by HidinVictim   Mar 28, 2009

Confusion:
When a heart is torn

Between the man
It wants so badly to love
And the woman
It so easily beats for

And how does it chose?
Night and day
Hot and cold
The cactus and the flower

With simple words
And one time actions
This heart
Is so confused

With talks of love
And gentle kisses
The wrong face envisioned
Confusion.

Dear heart,
Its safety that you seek
But forced to be so meek
Step lightly when you speak

Confusion,
Two plus years
Of this well hid facade
With one night seems odd

Confusion,
one year in the count
Your hell like rage
Puts love in a drought

The looks she gave
Gives this heart butterflies
The words he speaks
Says loves no lie

So dear meek heart
Chose right
Upon who's life
Will you impose?
