Bampy

by Bullets Are My Best Friend   Apr 1, 2009

When dad left me you took his place
To me, you were the father I never had
You were always there for me
In time of need well so its seems
I could count on you because you cared.

My birthday, yep you always remembered
But never my age but you always made me laugh
It's the fact that you remembered which made me smile,
You still think of me as you little girl
But Bampy I,m all grown up.

As I got older I notice a change in you, a change in us
You seemed distant to me and Nan
You woulwouldven speak to us
You would blank us when we try and speak to you
Your phone rings all the time
I start getting suspicious
Why don't you answer you phone?
Why do you wait till you go upstairs?

I herd you on the phone one day
You said "take care love you" to her,
Yes I knew it was coming
But he has never said that to me in all my life
I now don't speak to him
He's leaving Nan in care
Six weeks he's going for
Disssapointed in Disappointed

So now we don't even speak in the car
When he takes me home
I think he knows that I know
That's why I don't speak to him you see
He wonders why I'm funny with him
Maybe he realises why,
Someday I realizesl Nan
She will know what kind of a man he is.
