A Wire In My Cheek

by LitxUpxWithxLife   Apr 2, 2009

This wire in my cheek is cutting and tearing up in me.
This thin steel cable the biggest part of me you see.

Digging into my teeth and biting into my tongue.
A stronger cable than the noose I had originally hung.

Darkness swirls around me in a thick black cloud once more.
Begging me to smoke, drink, and fill my life again with gore.

I've tried to keep it suppressed inside that wicked heart of mine.
Hoping the Heavens haven't forgot me, will you please just show a sign.

An ounce of peace is what I ask for you yet you curse my very name.
Just scream and throw things at me,cause you know I'll take the blame
