Just a flirt

by LittleBlackRose   Apr 6, 2009

It was a Friday night
Time to go out and dance
Just forgetting everything around
Get myself into a trance

We got into a bar
And danced the night away
Just me and my friends
What more is there to say

And then I caught your eye
And we begun to chat
I can't remember who started it
But I don't really care about that

I had a couple of drinks
And you had have some too
And so it could be I found myself
Every time a little closer to you

So we started to dance
And I can say, you were good
You knew how to move your hips
Just the way it should

I never did something like this before
But I felt a desire to kiss
And with some encouragement of my friends
It really came to this

We exchanged our numbers
And we text-ed a while
You send me some sweet things
And some things that made me smile

The texting is getting less now
I think it soon will come to an end
And maybe it will turn out to be
That the last message has already been sent

And you know, I don't really care
That this is not going to work out
Because there's one thing you gave me
And that is what it's all about

You gave me some self-confidence
Just what I needed right then
So I want to thank you
For making me feel better again

This is a great poem the imagry is clear and strong it has a deep meaning which is heartfelt and sincire there was only one error i could see and that was when you wrote That the last message has already been send it should be sent at the end but apart from that

    well done

Well, there is nothing wrong with your grammar:)
I love the message in this, how we sometimes have short but meaningful relationships with people that lateron in life turn out to have been stepping stones.

    Good job, Inge:)

    5/5 Ingrid
