Darkness Over Death

by Daniel   Apr 6, 2009

Because I could not stop death,
He kindly stopped for me.

He tore at my skin, deep within,
Not listening to my plea.

As I stand, the shadows become night,
And the darkness of death eases the pain.

Death drinks my blood, as I scream for acid rain.

There he stands... death... in a clear, moonless sky.

I then wait for the rain, as I slowly die.
