Inside

by chris johnson   Apr 8, 2009

Laying on my back i see
all the things that could have been
out of the sky you entered my eye
you came out of heaven

just as fast as the bullet was shot from the gun
it went through to the other side
quicker than hell with not even a yell
as you killed me deep inside

its funny how a broke bone heals
but you cant fix a broken heart
the pain of it all will always befall
and we always question the start

i cant bring myself to look though the wall
you put up infront of me
to look in your eyes i only despise
the emptiness that i see

with no emotion i go on to live life
the best way without you here
with a hole in my soul, that i no longer control
with only an everlasting tear.
