Lost all sight

by NaomiNeglected   Apr 12, 2009

As I try to sleep;
I crave to feel your touch.
While I lay here and weep;
For I miss you so much.

You have now lost all care;
Your heart is now as black as night.
I'm here still unaware;
Not even I can see your light.

The way I felt was because of you;
But like the others you left.
Unfortunately my feelings still grew;
And my heart faces it's uncalled for death.

I realize now what I feel is love;
That secret I'll have to keep.
In the past I continued to hove;
I won't stop now I will take this leap.

I thought I was over you;
I thought I had let go.
But that's another thing untrue;
I still love you so.

Guess I'll just have to forget;
Although it will be hard.
But I promise you I won't regret;
Now I'll just have to rebuild my guard.

If you wish to say good bye;
Don't leave with a fight.
I won't give up, I will continue to try;
But for now I have lost all sight.
