Numbers and shapes

by Madison   Apr 13, 2009

Frolicking in a field of complete boredom
lying in a pool of numbed concentration
normality seems to fight the change
of being something more than strange
hating square as only a triangle can
fearing a circle much more than four
casting out for someone different
only to find another closed door
why should i be the average
when all i want is to be the six
last in one three in all
the number of a saddened soul

    This piece is beautiful.
I really love the line " lying in a pool of numbed concentration "
It spoke to me, because i feel i have been in the exact same place so many times before.
    really nice job.
