First Kisses

by DistantKisses   Apr 16, 2009

When is lips met mine for the very first time.
I felt my heart freeze for a mere moment.
My breathe was caught in my throat.

I didn't know what to do.
How to react to his sudden move.

Of course the kiss wasn't anything I expected.
Not like fairytales or the movies.
It was more.

I reacted in a silly way, and something spilled out of my mouth.
I wasn't thinking when I said it.
But he didn't seem to mind.

He laughed.
Ah. Such a charming and inviting laugh.
I swear his eyes sparkle every time.

My lips were wet from his as I wiped them on my sleeve.
I was childish.
Embarrassed.

But god, I wanted to do it again.
So badly I couldn't even admit it to him.

My heart was beating so quickly, I thought for sure I was having a heart attack.
He teased me with that little grin.

He'll never realize how I felt right then.
I'll keep it all a secret.

That provocative look in his eyes made me melt inside.
I want so badly to wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him with everything I have.
Even if I'm not that good.

For now, I'll just have to wait.
Gather the courage.
And maybe... Just maybe...
Next time, I'll be the one kissing him.
