`I'm going to be completely honest with you and tell you this was a bit too cliche for me.. its a wonderful simile but definatly very overused and was wondering if theres another way of putting your thoughts.

"Dripping droplets play a beat
Remindful of my heart's defeat"
`Loved your alliteration of dripping droplets, and loved how you said they played a beat, I found that to be very unique. Great rhyme scheme, simple but works nicely with your poem. Good flow.

Overall a sad write, but well written. I thought you worded things very simply but it was nice to actually be able to understand that the poem without the interference of words one wouldnt normally understand.
