Nature's Quarel

by Lauren   Apr 18, 2009

Silent whispers rattling leaves,
An invisible force, shaking trees,
Communication of a storm to come.
Hints from nature helps prepare,
Quiet growls distant in the sky,
Angry electricity streaking above,
Louder growling responds.
Closer the storm has come upon,
A heated quarrel below the stars,
Depressed clouds grow heavy,
Their gray anxiety about to spill over.
The intense fighting
Causes the sky to start crying,
Emotional teardrops,
Streaming to the ground.
Boiling hate adding to the arguing elements,
War in the sky rages slowly on.
But tensions start to ease,
Rumbling growls separate and die,
Electric lights are turned down low,
The only thing that shall remain,
Are the pelting tears from nature's Quarrel.
