I Never Let Go

And you walked back into my life,

Just the way you walked out of,

Unexpectedly.

I had given up on you.

I had given up on us.

I cried myself to sleep for years,

But I had finally dried my tears.

Never to look back at the past.

Remembering now,

The way you tore my world apart,

Makes me wish you would leave.

But hearing your voice again,

Takes me back to the days

When I loved you more than you could see.

Now I cant bring myself to get away.

My anger faded,

But my feelings never did.

I want you to know that you hurt me,

And that you broke my heart beyond repair.

I forgive you,

Because in the back of my mind,

I remember saying

That you would always have a second chance in my heart

Thats love though,

Letting someone completely destroy you,

But never letting them go.
