Maybe if i stand
completely still
they won't notice me

maybe if i scream
into the sky
someone will answer

maybe if i run
far away
someone will miss
me

maybe if i jump
I'll learn
how to fly

maybe if i smile
I'll actually be
happy

maybe if i stop
this sin
will be forgotten

maybe if i live
the world will
recover

maybe if i die
the world will stop
spinning

maybe i can make it

but then again,
maybe not...

    this poems is so full of what if's and as the word you use, maybes
    i think almost everyone could relate to this in one way or another and that at one time all of us has had one of these thoughts run through our head

    "maybe i can make it
    but then again,
    maybe not..." this reminds me of this thing from the book just listen by sarah dessen
