No Feeling Left

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Apr 20, 2009

Press the keys with trembling fingers
The sound they make, not quite in tune
Somehow the worst taste lingers
When there is no feeling left of you

Hum out a lonely symphony
To make music it takes two
The long drawn string and minor keys
When there is no feeling left of you

Close me eyes to hold tears back
Scream my lonely symphony
All the smiles fade to black
When there is no feeling left of me

Music is one of the only releases i have. it is one of the few things to bring me to tears. life would not be worth living if i would ever lose that feeling. even if it is in my own way, this poem has a little special meaning to me.

don't lose touch with your music. it's what keeps most of us sane.
