I want you near.
I want you by my side.
I want to be able to hold you.
& look into your eyes.

I'm sick of the distance.
I'm sick of not having you here.
I'm sick of you being so far away.
& of you not being anywhere near.

All the times we've talked.
All the times we've said 'I promise'.
All the times we've wrote.
& all the years that have gone by.

WHEN WILL YOU BE BY MY SIDE!

I'm tired of waiting.
I'm tired of hoping & praying.
I'm tired of being without you.
Please, I just want you here.

I'm starting to become exhausted.
I'm starting to run out of tears.
I'm starting to become weak.
Please, just come home to me.

You're the only one I want.
You're the love of my life.
You're the answers to my prayers.
Please, tell me everything will be alright.

    That was so beautiful...

    I know how it feels to have someone you love so far away.

    A recent ex never talked to me again after his graduation from high school, and he told me he was joining the military, possibly the navy, but I have no idea where he is.

    My boyfriend of four months is starting college in August, leaving a week and a half before my seventeenth birthday. I'll be a senior in high school and he'll be about three hours away from me, and I'm scared about the distance, especially because of what my other ex did.

    Anyway, my rambling story aside, I love the poem, and I added to my favorites. :)

    This is a very sweet poem, and its so sad.
    I hope everthing works out for you sweetie, if you ever need to talk, you just private message me.
    trust me, i know what its like to have someone you love being very far away from you, my situation is ALOT differnt tho, differnt kind of love all together. My brother is in Iraq and Im scared for him, but I know that God is watching out for him, becouse I ask him to every night i pray
