Empty is Overrated, But it's All She Feels

Empty, does it make a sound?
falling forever, will she ever hit the ground?

why? why does he cloud her troubled mind?
can't, wont forget him, love's never kind

bleeding not screaming, time is swinging by
the angels are dying, don't you hear them cry?

rain drowning cities, the night eating stars
sun burning nightmares, open your scars

unfaithful lover, breaking the vows
new love erupting, don't put on a show

empty, now thats all that she feels,
rainbows die, and it's you that they'll steal.

    This was a great write, combining both cliche lines with original ones. Using rainbows to portray something fallen, broken was creative. A wonderfully written poem, though in some parts it seemed that you were trying to hard to make the poem rhyme that it took away from it a bit. 4/5
