She shatters

by coverd in darkness   May 4, 2009

Jealousy is there evident in her eyes,
Why does it come as no surprise?

You arrive with her but yet keep looking at me,
This is something not just her can see,
But so many others also,
Numerous people ask me who you are.

Afternoon goes on,
Alcohol's effecting you as much as it's effecting me,
You see my state and know I'm incapable,
Yet you ask me to do it anyway,
Knowing you'll have to hold my hand,
I look back and she's watching,
Can see her heart bleed,
At what she can see.

From there it all went downhill,
Invisible twister between you and me,
Can you see her glare,
For she is breaking and you can't tell,
I stand strong and break away.

For i know what you mean to her,
Right now you're really hurting her,
Then you carry me down the stairs,
Camera in hand taking photos,
What should be made of this?

You weren't drunk only tipsy,
She was drunk but can you blame her,
Things you were doing with me,
Should of been her,
Can see the tears filling her eyes,
She doesn't deserve this,
She's too good for you,
But your all she dreams of,
All she wants,
Hope for her sake some day you finally stop doing wrong,
And replace that with right.

For because of you,
She sits alone because she knows no one,
And there she shatters to pieces.
(written about a guy friend, his girlfriend and myself about a very drunken and interesting day recently, unfortunately he is doing this to her)
