Always Drown

Jaded and left alone to swim
not in a pool, nor a river, or the sea
swim in the tears you cry at night
the tears influenced by knowing you cant be

splash around in the pain for a lifetime
don't over exert yourself , theres more to come
let the once happy sun beam down on your soul
while engulfed in these tears with nowhere to run

with the somnolence sweeping your body
you'll feel yourself going down
attempting to stay afloat in a bed full of tears
its a sure thing that you'll always drown.
