A Black Crystal Mask

by Dannielle Jones   May 6, 2009

A black crystal mask, with beauty that over whelms
It be the last to see, of this wondrous world
For if you cross his path, he will not give you mercy
Taking your life in an instant, whether you’re poor or wealthy
There be no bribe, to ensure your life remains
He will kill you no matter what, he expects no gains
He be not greedy, taking more than his fill
But if you get him angry, pressing him against his will
He will not treat you softly, he will not care
He will eat you slowly, if you ever dare.

Still he stands to this day,
Indestructible in everyway,
With no weakness or emotion,
No care or devotion,
Endless killing forever more,
Blood across every door.
