I killed him. 15.08.08

by Dannielle Jones   May 6, 2009

I killed him,
He lay there,
I stared.

I felt no remorse for my deeds,
I would repeat if his life were not at its end,
Kill that bastard, over and over again.

I slept,
Sound.

The morning I rose,
My sheets stained with his blood,
The smell of his decaying body,
As it started to rot.

I killed him,
He lay there,
I stared.

Blood covering my arms,
Soaking my dress,
Smeared across my face.

I washed,
I watched,
As the red drained away,
Down the drain.

I killed him,
He lay there,
I stared.

The officer came by that day,
I called him to come quickly,
Told him about an intruder,
That was sickly,
Murdered my husband a while ago,
I was too in grief to become involved.

I killed him,
I lied,
They buried his body,
Never to see the light.
