With Him, I See

by Aubrey   May 8, 2009

With him, I see the beauty
that I never saw before

I see the light in front of my face
The way it shines through my hair

I see the beauty in a smile
the love in the laughter

I see the twinkle in the eyes
an overwhelming heart of love

I see the way couples look at each other
the way a flower blooms
I see the holiness in the sunrise
the pureness of sunset
The way the flowers stand in rows
the dew touching the tips of the flowers
I see the innocence of a baby’s cry
the cuteness of their tiny hands
I see the loveliness of a man’s smile
and the perfect atmosphere

I wake up seeing the thoughts a good morning
the smile on a face that used to be so sad
I see no sadness when I look in the mirror
and a heart that wants to be held
I see his hand wrapped in mine
the joys of my own heart
I see the joy in which he brings
the future joy I will have
I see the perfection in love itself
and that is something I have not seen before
Out of all these things and the reasoning behind
with him, I finally see.
