I once had a vision...

by shadowed heart   May 10, 2009

Visions of memories escape my thoughts.
Colors of beauty, colors of betrayal.
One of every color pouring out into the open.

Visions of the present slowly are released.
Opened for everyone in attendance to see.
Nothing of which was supposed to be held so loosely.

Visions of footsteps making their way in every direction of mine.
A path led to secrets hidden from the "almost lover".
A trail, I hoped would resolve in a landslide.
Rocks falling violently, ruining the steps Closer to be with someone else, the person you set yourself to be with.

Visions of water. Splashing, flowing, crashing on sharp objects.
Predators waiting for this and determined to end their life.
All of the cycle life is categorized into.
Humans are involved and lose their lives too!

No one comes out of the world alive.
When the time has come obstacles may change your direction.
Footsteps of a forbidden lover slowly slipping away, preying on the loner left to cry of betrayal.
The trail mislead the memories from happiness only set out for our locked away grievousnesses.
The grievousnesses of our long lost hopes and our broken dreams.

I once had a vision of beautiful memories escaping my thoughts.
None of which escaped for me enough to let go.
