A broken object

by megan   May 10, 2009

It has been broken, mended, and broken again
How many times can an object be broken and mended
Every time, it gets weaker and weaker
Almost unable to hold together
Even the slightest touch and it may shatter
Things take time to mend
Whats the point if its just going to brake again
And again
And again
Nothing is immortal
Eventually it wont be able to be mended any more
Then all that will be left is a
Shattered,
Useless
Object
If it becomes useless
Then what,
Will it be thrown out?
Forgotten?
Maybe it will simply fade into nothingness
Or maybe,
Just maybe
There is something strong enough to fix it
Something that will hold the object together forever
The object will become stronger and stronger
It will no longer be broken by such a small touch
No longer will it shatter.

If
Only
There
Was
Something,
Something
That strong

If only
.
.
.
.
