Ever Rending Love

by MorganLeFey   May 10, 2009

Conceived in sorrow, born in pain
Life begins, death remains
Beaten, abandoned, left for dead
To beg for any scrap of bread
Yet I survived, I exist
By some fickle nature's twist
Even so, there yet remains
Amid the rending cries of pain
A yearning to know of you...

An element of desperation in this poem. With bold use of wording and a sudden forced stop leaving the last line " A yearning to know of you" again words like Yearning highlighting the desire in the sentence. Its good stuff 5/5
