Thinking Of The Absence.

by Hallo A Lilium   May 11, 2009

Drifting apart each day thats flies by
The absence of love shames him and I
Deeper in the depression that controls my heart
Part of the cycle that has torn me apart

Sorrow encases my spirit in a warped cocoon
Never been so lonely or ever wanted to howl at the moon
Fragile woman with tears that stream down her sad face
Emptiness engulfs her pride and leaves turmoil in its place

Tragic ending that floats on a nearby boat of remorse
Futile attempts made to keep up with loves course
More tries lead to a steeper staircase of pain
Fall down a flight and delve down further to border being insane

A stone thrown against a window is about the same
Inside the heart shatters and the rocks wielder is to blame
Trapped outside in the weather that pours down sleet
Endorphins stir but never surpass the body's weak beat

Mastermind of games that play cruel tricks on the soul
The targets always lose as is such the winners goal
He smiles handsomely at myself and I feel regret
I had promised that this time I'd not get upset

But the lost of all worship has taken a hold on my brain
The car that operates my mind gets hit by a train
I only wanted to have a dosage of complete happiness
But now i have to forfeit and settle for the second best
