One Bullet Left

by Jenny   May 11, 2009

It glimmers in the light
It sparkles silver
It shines bright
Its sound is never forgotten
And it tears through your sight
It's never spoken of
And its handle is gripped tight

Their nothing without each
Other. It's not complete
Without another. Like
Two halves of a
Whole.

It's like calling on an
Angel but there is a
Toll. A falling of a
Life. An incomplete heart
That's split from the
Start.

When they are combined
Together destruction is
Left behind. There's a
Beginning and an end.
Fear is just the beginning
And killing in the end.

Have you guessed the
Lasting couple? A bullet
And a gun. You're down
To your last bullet in
Your friend. Carving her
Name in the bullet and
Placing it in the gun.

She'll be the last
Thing going through
My head and the
Last bullet to win.
