This poem touches upon a very important issue: the cause of suffering. I believe that this is to be found ( partly) in the inability of our dreams and our ideals to be fulfilled by reality..once we let go and learn to take in life as it presents itself to us and learn to flow with the current instead of swimming upstream, much of the suffering will become past tense:)

out the pain...good write!

Wonderfully done. I enjoy my read, it left me thinking. I truly believe that it is possible for a tortured soul to find peace, but the only way that soul can find peace is to feel love. Firstly, accept his/her self for who they are really.
Also yes, your senses are powerful than your eyes. Even when the eyes fade to capture the essential, the senses are always alive.
