Everybody loves a f **cking tragedy

by b r i d g e t   May 15, 2009

Your a cold, empty poisonous smile..
i watch you, youve turned into everything you hate

touch.... arms are folded, holding, pushing gluing..

keeping all my broken shards together

waste away, living the big city dream

in a small town filled with revulsion, sincerity and lies

i'll tell you a secret, lean in so no one else hears.

"everybody loves a f**cking tragedy"

i see you...

at a party, diluted eyes, at church on sundays, trying to wipe your dirty slate?

are drugs an escape for you precious?
a comfort, that this world of reality is all just a big game

like a thumb to suck on for an infant....
your scared to be alone....

too make yourself irreplacable one must be different

you think you stand too close, that your laugh rings too fake and loud

your a f**cking trainwreck and everyones slowing down to survey the damage...
