Midsummer's Love

by gabriel   May 17, 2009

Take my hand and come along
Listen to the ocean's song
Waves lapping upon the shore
I could never ask for more

Let us sail towards the sun
Across the vast, southern sky
Together we'd become one
Together you and I

We'll sit atop a cliff
Beyond the green lagoon
Till the stars come out to play
With the big fat moon

Under the midsummer's night
Cool and humid-free
I feel your breath against my skin
You are my sanctuary

Tasting your lips that very night
I knew it was love at first sight
Everything was so perfectly fine
I was yours and you were mine
